Surprisingly Simple and Delicious Air-Fried Broccoli

Broccoli is probably the poster child of “healthy eating”. It is packed with fiber, antioxidants, potassium, manganese, iron, and vitamins C, K1, and B9 after all. But…it also gets a bad rap as a “boring health food”. I will forever be on a mission to prove healthy food IS delicious and simple to make. This broccoli recipe is no exception. The bowl is always empty by the end of dinner when I bring this as a side dish to parties if that tells you anything.  And even better, it is so dang simple to make.

Ingredients:

Broccoli

Olive oil or avocado oil

Salt

Pepper

Garlic powder

Red chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut up your broccoli or defrost from frozen

  2. In a bowl coat the broccoli in the oil of your choosing

  3. Add the seasonings and mix until the broccoli looks like it’s covered in the amount of seasoning you prefer

  4. Air-fry on the veggies setting or at 350°F (or 375°F if you want them more crispy) until the broccoli reaches your desired degree of cooked. I recommend checking on the broccoli and giving it a little mix every 5-10 mins, tasting as you go.

  5. Enjoy!
